Sam Before and After Treatment
We met Sam 5 miles outside Kampala, Uganda aged 4. He had been tested HIV positive two years previously but had received no treatment. He had never spoken or even laughed. It was estimated that he had about 6 months to live.
One year later, following A-Z Children's Charity's intervention, he was alive and well and finally attending school.
